- Increase the farmer’s income.
- Reach successful crops
- Increase the sustainability of agricultural practice
- Increase the local food availability
- Aim to reduce the percentage of toxic plants to zero
- Build a connection between the farmer and market and the government to play the role of the virtual market.
The listed goals are a few of the uncountable plans and benefits this idea will offer for the whole world. This application is a mobile crop advisory app for farmers, extension workers, agriculture engineers, and gardeners. The app guides the farmer by offering all the features of a successful crop: IPM, disease detector, Smart Irrigation, Economic management, Growing degree days (GDD), fertilizers management, and virtual market. This application will provide the farmer with the whole plan needed to increase the yield and have a successful crop that will be done only by combining all the features that our start-up will prove.
Challenges
As we mentioned above, the challenges will face are:
- the time it may take more than five years to launch our idea
- the combination of the different fields of science
- This idea needs many funds to implement it
The virtual market will be the most challenging topic in our project because we deal with government and people, while the other will cost much time, works, data, and technology but still easier than building that connection between the government and people.
